Mission

The mission of Upward Notes, plain and simple, is to bring classical music out of the concert hall and into the community while teaching and encouraging well-being for the audience and performer. Over the course of four years, we have created a roster of more than fifty musicians in the region that volunteer their time and talents to create beauty in the greyest of locations. We venture into a variety of extreme locations including jails, sex-trafficing safe-houses, foster care, homeless shelters, and substance addiction centers
